“Facing The Future”

This is the the way most people think today.Scientists warn of the
dengers facing our world.Yet we still pollute and endenger our
ecosystem.Physicians warn of the results of smoking to our
bodies, and people still smoke.Why is this? Because people
want instant gratification and do not often think of the consequences of their actions fo the future.
Everyone likes to think about the future.Astrology and its horoscopes
are popular with lots of people around the world.But the best way to prepare for the future is to live each day so that later
in life there wo’t have to be regrets.It is not just the major decisions and choices in our lives that affect our future.
often it is a whole series of small choices that we make daily that will determine what our future will be like.
of course,there are many things that will make plawce in our future that we cannot control.Circumstances play a major
role.However,if we focus on the things we can control,such as ou attitude,the friends we choose,studying and working to the best of our ability and potential,we can help guide the course of our future.
Perhaps the one thing that mankind has no been able to control about the future is his or her time of death.Neverless,
by trusting in God,one can be assures of his care and control over his or herfuture.If we fellow Christ and his teachings,
there is promise that he made to his eeatly followers that is still true for us.”I am with you always,to the very end of the age.”

“WISDOM”
If you could magically ask for one thing in life,what would it be? To be rich? To be famous? I’ts certainly not wrong to be rich or famous.But does someone become wise? It certainly is’t something that is more value than these things.And that is wisdom.
How does someone become wise?It certainly is’t something we can buy or inherit.Jesus givesus the best teaching we can find on how to become wise.The Bible tell us that as a child He grew in wisdom, and stature, and favore with God and man.He knew the importance of honoring his parents,of puttring God first in his life, and understanding the principles in God’s Word, The Bible.
Jesus Thought the wisdom comes by building one’s house on a firm foundation.A wise person buils his life on rock,rather than on sand.When troubles come, and undoubtedlly,we will all face trials in our lives,our house will stand if it is built on the foundation of God and a relationship with Jesus Christ.
As we grow in wisdom,we will learn to make right choices that will have lifelong results.A person does not have to be old to old to be wise.But a young person is wise if he or she ask forand respects the asdvise of older people who have more experience.
Wisdom is not just knowing with our minds,but understanding with our hearts.Many of the teachings of Jesus were hard for the relegious leaders of his day to understand,because they tried to figure evrything out of with their minds.He taught that if our hearts are hardened,we will never understand even the most basicof spiritual truths.If you commit yourself to studying God’s wors,the Bible, and keep our heart open to the message it contains,you will become wise.
